• Florence Hong , wife of Joe Yum Dare "XieZuYin" (4th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years on 22 May 2016.

• William Tse "XieZuYu" (4th Generation), and 5th child of Kin Koi Tse "XieJianJu", passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on 31 October 2015.

• Gum Yue Quan "Yim Tse" , wife of Doo Toy Tse "XieZuCai" (4th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 100 years on 19 Jan 2015.

• A daughter, Rigi Lili Dare, was born on 28 February 2014 to Jason Roland Dare "XieZhuoKang" (6th generation) and Rachael Whang.

• A daughter, Izumi Lee Sakamoto, was born on 12 November 2013 to Nicole Lee Dare "XieYanLing" (6th generation) and Erik Sakamoto.

• Twin daughtera, Sally Harper Dare and Madison Olivia Dare, were born on 11 January 2013 to Martin Thomas Dare "XieZhuoHong (6th generation) and Jennifer Lau.

• Maria M. Lai "LiWenZhen" , wife of William Tse "XieZuYu" (4th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years on 7 May 2012.

• A daughter, Michelle Grace Fong "GuangLiYi", was born on 8 March 2012 to Jason Fong "KuangWeiDe (5th generation) and Melissa Tse "XieYuJun".

• Martin Dare, "XieZhuoHong" (6th generation), son of Patrick Dare "XieGuoWei" (5th Generation) & Claribel Lau "LuiLiYuen", was married to Jennifer Lau on 7 May 2011. The ceremony was held in Cupertino.

• A daughter, Adriana Katelyn Dare, was born on 9 December 2010 to Gregory James Dare "XieZhuoYao (6th generation) and Dawn Sue.

• Morris Dare Jr. "XiGuoChang" (5th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years on 29 November 2010.

• A son, Ali'i Thomas Paul Dare, was born on 21 July 2010 to Jason Roland Dare "XieZhuoKang" (6th generation) and Rachael Whang.

• A daughter, Ayana Noelle Sakamoto, was born on 6 January 2010 to Nicole Lee Dare "XieYanLing" (6th generation) and Erik Sakamoto.

• A daughter, Kaylan Joe, was born on 8 December 2009 to Michael (6th generation) and Manda Joe.

• George Dare "XieZuZhi" (4th Generation), 4th son of "Mei Pon" and grand nephew of "WeiDong", passed away peacefully on 7 August 2009.

• A daughter, Amelia Marie Erber, was born on 4 August 2009 to Florian Erber and Tricia Darnel Rubia (6th generation).

• Kin Lok "XiJianLe" (3rd generation), last remaining son of "WeiDong", passed away on 28 April 2009. He had been residing in Hong Kong.

• David Tam (5th generation) has provided significant update information to correct and fill in data for "XieJianYe's" (3rd generation) branch of the Dare Family Tree.

• You may not have realized that Laura Michelle's (5th generation) husband, Woodrow Harrelson, is the same "Woody" who played the role of the loveable bartender with that name in the long running TV comedy series, "Cheers".

• Ruth Kung (4th generation) has provided significant update information to correct and fill in data for Hoey Louie, "XieMeiFa's" (3rd generation) branch of the Dare Family Tree. Hoey is the 3rd son of Wei Zhu, a younger sibling of Wei Dung.

• Nellie Dare (5th generation) has provided significant update information to correct family tree data for Paul Dare's (4th generation) branch of the Dare Family Tree. Paul is the grandson of Wei Zhu, a younger sibling of Wei Dung.

• Jason Dare, "XieZhuoKang" (6th generation), son of Roland Dare "XieGuoJian" (5th Generation) & Jeannette Lee "LiMeiDe", was married to Rachael Wang on 20 October 2008. The ceremony was held in Hawaii.

• Michele Dea Yamaguma (5th generation) has provided significant update information to correct and fill in data for Harvard Dea's (4th generation) branch of the Dare Family Tree.

• Correction to ommitted data - A third son, Tanzhen Gian Deru, was born to Erika Janine Lee, "LiBiYun" (5th generation) and Michael Patrick Deru on 3 September 2006.

• Correction to omitted data - A son, Carter Joe Quan, was born on 2 August, 2005 to Gary (6th generation) and Rebecca Quan.

• Sue Wu Dare "XiJuanSi", wife of Morris Dare Sr. "XieZuMou" (4th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 96 years on 8 June 2008.

• Jennie Quon Dare "GuanJin Yun", wife of Thomas Dare "XieZuYi" (4th Generation), passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years on 4 April 2008.

• Jimmy Gor Dare, "XieJianQu" (3rd generation), 8th son of "XieWeiDong" and 3rd son of Luk Shee, passed away at the age of 89 years on March 3, 2008.

• A daughter, Sydney Wright, was born on November 2007 to Darren Wight and Nancy Denise Quan (6th generation).

• Jason Fong, "KuangWeiDe" (5th generation), son of Goren Fong "Kuang Jiong Yuan" & Carolyn Der "XieQiaoLun" (4th Generation), was married to Melissa Tse "XieYuJun" on 30 June 2007. The ceremony was held at the Crystal Springs Golf Club in Burlingame.

• We are pleased to make connections with Rebecca Szeto, "SituNianHao" (4th generation) who has provided us with data to fill in a significant branch of our family tree. Rebecca's mother is Lai Fun Tze, "XieLiFen" (3rd generation) who is the 6th daughter of "XieWeiDung".

• A son, Cole Mendoza, was born on 12 September, 2006 to John Randie Mendoza and Gena A. Rubia, "ShaoZhen" (6th generation).

• Nicole Lee Dare, "XieYanLing" (6th generation), daughter of Roland Dare "XieGuoJian" (5th Generation) & Jeannette Lee "LiMeiDe", was married to Erik Sakamoto on 22 October 2005. The ceremony was held at Redwood Shores.

• Stephen Leonard Tom (6th Generation), son of Leonard Tom and Katie Joe "ZhouJiMin", (5th generation) died on 3 October 2005 as a result of a hiking accident on Mt. Whitney.

• Helen Dare, "XieCuiXia" (4th generation), daughter of Kin Jock, "XieJianZhu", and Jow Jair Ng Shee, passed away peacefully on 12 September 2005.

• A daughter, Eleanor Dorothy Walton, was born on 6 June, 2005 to Christopher Walton and Erin P. Dare, "XieXinLing" (6th generation).

• A daughter, Natalie Leonie Erber, was born on 12 July, 2004 to Florian Erber and Tricia D. Rubia, "ShaoLing" (6th generation).

• A daughter, Eleanor Lee, was born on in 7 June, 2004 to Arron Lee, "LiBoYao" (5th generation) and Carrie Webber.

• Lauren E. Dare, "XieYiLing" (6th generation), daughter of Patrick Dare "XieGuoWei" (5th Generation) & Claribel Lau "LiuLiYun", was married to Nathan Goff on 12 June 2004. The ceremony was held at Mongomery, Alabama.

• A second son, Ren-Lee Patrick Deru, was born to Erika Janine Lee, "LiBiYun" (5th generation) and Michael Patrick Deru on 21 February 2004.

• Serah Der Lee "XieQiaoXu" (4th generation) was married to Larry R. Iverson on 31 May 2003. The ceremony was held in Oakland, CA.

• Tricia D. Rubia, "ShaoLing" (6th generation), and Florian Erber commemorated their 1st year of marriage with a ceremony in Germany on 3 May 2003.

• A daughter, Emma Mendoza, was born on 30 June, 2002 to John Randie Mendoza and Gena A. Rubia, "ShaoZhen" (6th generation).

• Tricia D. Rubia, "ShaoLing" (6th generation), daughter of Ronald Rubia and Joanne Dare-Hart, "Xie MiaoLing" was married to Florian Erber on 3 May 2002. The married couple has moved to Germany as Florian has relocated back to his home office.

• Mei Fung Der (aka. Kin Tac), "XieJianQi" (3rd generation), 7th son of "XieWeiDong" and 2nd son of Luk Shee, passed away on May 2002 at the age of 90 years. He had emigrated to the US and was living in Monterey Park, CA at the time of his passing.

• Thomas Dare, "XieZuYi" (4th generation), oldest son of Kin Jock, "XieJianZhu", and Jow Jair Ng Shee, passed away peacefully on 30 December 2001 in San Francisco at the age of 90.

• A son, Kai-Shen Deru, was born to Erika Janine Lee, "LiBiYun" (5th generation) and Michael Patrick Deru on 17 November 2001.

• A daughter, Madison Joe Quan, was born to Gary James Quan (6th generation) and his wife Rebecca on 5 April 2001.
